Our mission as 3S Kale Energy is to become one of the leading companies of Turkey in the field of research and production of Renewable Energy. We are operating on renewable energy field as 3S Kale Energy Production Company.
We especially focused on “geothermal energy”. We have 10 licensed fields 1 in Aydın, 8 in Niğde region and 1 in Manisa region. We are investing on geophysical, geological and drilling operations. We have invested totally 110 million USD in our operations for our Aydın License area located within Graben of Greater Menderes. We are producing 25MWe with 8 production wells and 12 reenjection wells in our power plant, in Aydın.
Our licensed area in Niğde is located in Cappadocia region which has importance in terms of tourism potential of our country. Up today, geothermal water sources with sufficient amount and temperature to enable electrical energy production cannot be detected yet. This is due to lack of surveys performed in the region as well as geothermal companies abstaining from region due to posed risks. Our company drilled a well in Sivrihisar, with a depth of 3.850 meter and the well bottom temperature is 2950C. This is recorded as the hottest well of Turkey. We are continuing research and drilling operations in 8 separate licensed fields inspite of high risk. Totally 5 million USD of investment is made for this region, by 3S Kale Energy. If we continue to explore more geothermal sources with desired quality and quantity, we believe that whole Central Anatolia region will become the most important region of energy production of our country.
Our company is interested in young volcanic regions of East Anatolia and fault lines of North and East Anatolia along with geothermal regions located in West and Central Anatolia and carrying necessary studies to discover geothermal potential of these areas. The reason of our wish to extend our researches to entire country is our desire to become an internationally leading energy company in long term. Although we have focused on geothermal energy production for now, we are also considering operating in the sector of other renewable energy types such as solar and wind- energy. We are also interested in fossil fuels such as petroleum and natural gas. We have a growth target to reach at least 100MW geothermal power plant capacity within following 5 years.
